Health & Safety Classes

The American Red Cross has provided health and safety services to people for more than 85 years as part of the organization's mission of emergency prevention and preparedness.

The Red Cross is a recognized provider of first aid, CPR, aquatics and water safety. HIV/AIDS prevention education, mission-related caregiving, and other health and safety education programs.

The American Red Cross recognizes CPR and AED certifications as valid for 1 year from the original completion date. Review course participants may have an additional 12 months in which they can enter into a review class. Proof of certification is required.

CPR/AED-Adult plus CPR-Child and Infant Review

* In order to comply with State regulations you must take an Infant/Child CPR Review class in the first and second years after initial training. In the third year a full 8-hour Connecticut Child Care course must be retaken.
